Time for an update with all the recent developments.
Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

I like the idea of this thread! Guess we would need a huge update considering the last time this was updated was two years ago lol. With DC currently going through an implosion it’s safe to assume they’re not doing too hot in regards to diversity.

Whats funny is that the only necessary update would simply state that DC has diminished to the point of oblivion any substantial investment in writing black characters.

When did DC Comics buy the rights to Judge from Miles Morales?

And since when did DC troll?

    https://bleedingcool.com/comics/chri...-comic-for-dc/

Today DC Comics has launched a new digital-first comic book, called Represent! The first issue is free and available now, It's a Bird by Christian Cooper and Alitha E. Martinez. You may recognise Christian Cooper as the former Marvel Comics editor and Star Trek comics writer accosted in New York's Central Park while birdwatching, with threats that the person would call the police and tell them that an "African American man" was threatening her, with all that this implied. The event received national coverage and was a contributing factor to the rise of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

I am sure a certain group will have a field day throwing fits about this along with a certain Green Lantern fan.

THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

    Mental health equality?

(Not that she's a useful example of any sort of neurodiversity...)

I wouldn't classify Damian as a minority. He is drawn as white-looking. Whatever ethnicity his mother is, he didn't take after her in the way of physical appearance. Damian looks exactly like Bruce as a child and as far as physical features go, he's white.
