This hasn't actually been stated by anyone in the industry. But I feel like Marvel Studios and Fox came to an agreement about the usage of the twins. Marvel uses SW while Fox uses QS. That's why QS is dead in the MCU, and that's also why we have yet to see SW appear in any X-men movie. This is just conjecture on my part though.Originally Posted by blanchett

The agreement also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-MEN with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that audiences have shown they love. It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn't be two Marvels.
