The ladies of the Dark Phoenix Saga by Peter Nguyen. What a glorious tribute. The men were truly the supporting characters in that story. Too bad it's such rarity now, 30 somewhat years after.

Would people like the idea if we honour a specific X-woman each month in the order they first appeared in the X-men. For example Jean would start this month, then June would be for Polaris, then July for Storm, and so on. I think it would help put a spotlight on the history of the female X-men and their contributions to the team.
What do you all think? And could some of you help me list each X-woman by order of appearance?

I just thought starting with May we could pay tribute to each X-woman based on the order of their first appearance in the X-books. Jean should be first because she was the first and with mother's day just around the corner she makes even more sense as this month tribute. July is also ideal for Storm since her solo book will be coming out then.
I would love to see this thread be a place to celebrate every X-woman, whether we like them or not.
