you'll, eventually, be complaining about how nothing happens in the comics.
Good. As far as what to call smaller "events" go, don't call them anything. Fall of the Mutants wasn't called an event. Operation: Galactic Storm wasn't called an event. Stop trying to figure out what to call them and just tell a good story.
Yes. Good.
I finally hit peak event fatigue last summer. THIS was what was making my pull list shrink.
18 months lol! i don't believe it will take that long but this should be interesting

This could be good news. Gives them a chance to strength solo/team books without being constantly interrupted every few months. Will be interesting to see how it effects sales/readership. That said, 18 months seems like a long time to go without any event...
Ha, I can see that happening.
2017: "Boo! Too many events! Cannot keep up! They are boring!"
2018: "Boo! No events! No comic feels connected anymore. Its all boring!"
Thank God.
Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!
finally...we are free
This just makes me thing we'll see way more crossover events like Standoff instead.
If they keep their word and for that length of time....But this is Marvel.
Probably when they think everyone forgot in about 9 months, a new event will come out!
Eh. Really want Eternity War to be the last event before we get the inevitable "event hiatus". GotG, Royals, Nova, USAavengers, Ultimates and other titles should be tied in with an "Alpha" and "Omega" event.
