    Wither had it worst.
There was also that boy who basically kept exploding till he died, in Austen's run. I'd rank that up there, especially since he had no way to control it whatsoever.

There are a lot of good "worst" powers here already, but someone has to mention Qwerty:

I'd also like to mention Penance, whose power traditionally leaves her unable to touch anyone AND unable to speak AND unable to have her mind read. Husk once husked to diamond form, which allowed Penance to hug her, but only VERY carefully... it was clear she'd break Husk's diamond skin otherwise.

For funniest/lamest, I'd go with Shark Girl. Or Eye Boy.

Came across these a few months ago.
Not actual mutants in the Marvel Universe, but I thought it was funny and relevant.

Haha, sad/dejected "I'm just purple sometimes" is my favorite, though there are a LOT of terrible powers on that list...

It would make being a homicide detective with a good closure rate a cinch, I would think. Depending just how much information the ghosts are able and willing to impart, it could go way beyond that.... check out Brian Lumley's Necroscope series of novels for some (cheesy, pulpy, comic booky) ideas.

Wow, so there are worst mutations than the guy who knew every language . From what I have seen it seems longneck is the lamest one, and wither is one of the toughest ones, even though it is very powerful when you think about it. Your posts have given me the idea to make a list of lame x-men powers for next week, I will post it as soon as its done. By the way, it sure sucks to be ugly john, but on the bright side at least he could taste three different flavored ice-creams at the same time.

Outside of Marvel, there are some pretty bad ones. 2000AD's Strontium Dog has to have some of the worst.
Most of them just had physical mutations, no powers.
Kid Knee comes to mind... his mutation was that his face was on his knee. That was it. Then there was Blubberlips. And Headley Foot.
Back-to-front Jones. Yeah... says something about the mental state of the people who created them!

Surprised no ones mentioned Maggot yet or what I like to call him....The Original defect X-Reject

Maggott is an unusual mutant, with the power to digest anything through the use of two slugs that inhabit his body, as well as the power to gain strength from that energy.

I'd agree with this one, as this is arguably when these things become "powers" as opposed to "an unfortunate condition".

I wish I had this power. Sadly, I have an unfortunate condition...
