Great news. Immonen's work is fantastic. I hope he gets to do a major arc.

#7 artist: JHW the Third in Al Williamson's style. You know he can do it.

I want to see Immonen draw an X-wing battle. His work on Shockrockets was amazing. The way he made ships in flight come alive with a sense of motion was just incredible.
Hope is not lost today. It is found.

Upgrade. Immonen is one is Marvels best. And in a space epic setting. Ya, good move Marvel.

Huge upgrade for the series and I'm glad to see Immonen doing so well. Still not interested in Star Wars comics though.

Well I like this artist for a Star Wars book, but I really would like a long running Star Wars book that is a real collaboration between the writer and artist. If this team sticks around for a while I will eventually check out what they do. If this is going to be a regular thing changing the artist (or worse, the writer) every arc I think that will be a bad sign for the series.

Ugh, I absolutely love Immonen( I go where he goes) but I wasn't really interested in star wars. Can anyone give me and idea of what the storyline is? I think I recalled something about between Ep 4 and 5. Is that accurate?

After the news this morning of Immonen coming on board, writer Jason Aaron tweeted, "Just for the record, I am on Star Wars for the long haul. There are so many stories I want to tell with these characters."

yeah, I think they're broken down into 3 issue story arcs. Its between Ep 4 and 5, got the main trio Luke/Leia/Han, Chewie, the droids etc going against Darth Vader and the Empire...basically the platonic idea when people think "Star Wars". Nothing mind-blowing, but its honestly been a fun read, and the creative team have captured that breezy adventure serial tone of the original trilogy.

Solid choice. Was hoping Immonen would be involved with that Secret Wars related project Remender has coming up, but glad to see him drawing Star Wars.

That is good to hear (now hopefully Marvel is fully behind that)
