In the aftermath of the anticipated success of the BP movie, I think we'll actually have a BP comic franchise to be proud of, written by talented scribes with a genuine desire to explore the full length and breadth of T'Challa's afro-futuristic world.

Coates nonsense will be harder to make excuses for post this amazing movies impact begins to be felt amongst moviegoers and open minded comicbook enthusiasts.

Spinning if off from the movie might be the easiest way to handle it. It doesn't seem like the TV side of things can get any of the movie people to any significant degree so the initial connection at least might need to be in the movies if they want to directly use T'Calla or Killmonger. Though maybe the shows could at least get secondary actors like ShurI or Nakia.

He probably couldn't actually be Black Panther though. Maybe white tiger or Coal Tiger.

How he connects to other characters is tough to determine until we see the movie.If for example Killmonger ends up dying in the BP movie then obviously Kasper won'T be doing a whole lot with him.

What marvel street heroes would you include? Daredevil had Night Nurse possibly, and Punisher. Luke Cage had Misty, Jessica and Night Nurse.

I think I would first debut him in Daredevil, like they did Punisher. It sort of gives him a small head start as Kasper isn't exactly the most well known hero.

Hunter might be a cool villain for a solo show, since I doubt Kill monger would be in the TV show. Kraven might be fun if Spider-Man isn'the using him.

And of they can somehow squeeze Queen Divine Justice in there that could be fun.

Coates mission statement to make T'Challa "some kids Spidey" always struck me as being patently ridiculous and disingenuous especially juxtaposed against the backdrop of rape camps and stereotypical dysfunction that this writer introduced into the BP mythos.

Milquetoast T'Challa became all the rage amongst some readers enamoured of Coates nonsense even as the likes of Al Ewing, Greg Pak among a plethora of other writers had T'Challa being BOSS whilst being featured or guest starring in books outside of his supposed solo book.

Ultimately, I'm no longer interested in giving Coates anymore of my critical attention.

All roads head to BP'S movie and that my friend, puts a smile on my face.

Ask him what kind of feats can we expect TCHALLA HIMSELF to achieve? Not some "Oh Tchalla won due to have help from who ever supporting cast gets shine this month". If you need a reference, use Evans brilliant showings of T'Challa soloing in the tribal challenge or T'Challa going solo and taking on and forcing Namor to stand down and later saving Namor. Because that was some REAL Tchalla shit.

That last part I have been saying since day one. Tchalla doesn't need to be dome kids Spiderman. He needs to (and will be after the movie drops) some kids Black Panther.

I hope Evans stays and i hope Redjack gets in on the BP action some more. And it's time for Coates to move on to Storm and leave the mythos in capable imaginative hands

Rise of the Black Panther and the upcoming movie are more than enough to fill my Black Panther needs.

The only thing that I have to complain about is the wait for BP 2 and Rise not being an ongoing.

Probably Narcisse, but right now it’s Coates until he can’t do it anymore. Graphic novel sales are steady and online sales seem to be good. I could see them co writing if he gets busy with Storm or touring again.
