This was his best look to me. I loved it.
Shout outs to the big guy, and let's give the Red Bishop his due. I'm still waiting for the book about the 4 great Captains to come out. X-office is missing out by not having considered it.
Rock the 'locks bro!
Not a fan of the bald look. They've done that with way too many AA male heroes.
I hope he dies soon. Then he can be resurrected without that dumb tattoo.
I would not mind Bishop having more attire that has him stand out some. Also i would like to see him use more of his equipment that was used when he was part of the X.S.E. I remember that he had a inhibitor collar called the Forge 3000. Can we get more interactions between him and X-men that he has bonded with like Jubilee?
It would be interesting to see if the tattoo can be removed. It's long since served it's purpose and not really necessary.
It does give a cool visual though.
It’s a mutilation foisted on him to mark his species. It’s ugly and an entirely unnecessary design choice when he was the ONLY black face aside from Storm. Not a fan of her hair texture but we’ll get there.
If Bishop needed a dramatic element for his look, I’d rather they’d leaned into the red scarf/capelet/poncho. Makes his “law & order” brand seem a bit more old West, like Django or Bass Reeves.
Actually, THAT’s what I want for his Red Bishop period: a red old west duster. No pirate shit.

We’re cool. Sorry if I sounded a bit hostile. My critiques on visuals are harsh cause symbols are important. You get that, since you explain what’s the tattoo could mean. In Gifted, the mark was turned into a self-brand denoting the Morlocks. But I was a dumb white kid way back in 91, and even then I thought Bishop’s look needed another pass in the workshop.
