It's Black Label. I imagine it's vaguely in-continuity.

Every Elseworlds is just Batman but in a different decade lol. DC writers are really brimming with imagination aren't they?

i cant be mad, people dont rally around anything not batman. Consumer want want want but wont speak with their wallets or give new things a chance. So we literally get what is paid for and thats batman. Luckily I'm a fan of batman characters

I just hope Captain Atom gets out of this mini unscathed.

It's in the Black Label si It's out of continuity. Captain Atom will remain intact for thé main continuity

Okay this is really cool. A new non Batman BL book is always a win and it being Authority centered is a neat surprise.

If there's any writer perfect for the Authority its Tom King, and at the very least he's a more interesting writer than they got for over on Wildcats in Matthew Rosenberg.

At least since he's the main antagonist of the series he won't get jobbed in a few panels...probably? I do wonder what would make him break bad.(it's King so I'm going to guess he was traumatized by some kind of government atrocities ... that he took part in...?)

DC needs to figure out a way to bring down Captain Atom's power levels a notch or three. They seem to believe they have boxed themselves into a corner where he either goes nuts, or blows up, and there is no character-building alternative in between.

Speaking of new books, excited to announce that I will have 3 new projects for DC Comics in the coming year! I believe these will all be announced at San Diego Comicon in July (which I will be attending, more details on that soon). Been having a total blast writing some dream books back at DC and it’s been a great balance with the BOOM! project.

Wow, Lemire is coming back. That’s pretty awesome. I wonder if Snyder can lure more writers back who have previously said that they’re only going to do indie/creator owned work from now on.
