We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for FEBRUARY 2022!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open all month and sales are tallied at the end of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!. It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

•As MAN-THING deals with having given birth to a healthy son able to shift from flesh and blood to muck and back, psychic outrage from GHAUR of the DEVIANTS makes MAGIK realize she's put off fully embracing her role as Queen of Earth & Limbo far too long.
•A being calling itself THANATOS attacked Found Lemuria, taking a meteoric Star Stone from the Deviants to integrate into the Gauntlet of Shuma-Gorath, and the resultant chaos may plunge the Deviants into civil war! (See Deviant #1 on sale now!) The ruler of Earth and Limbo was supposed to protect the sacred Star Stones, and now someone has begun collecting them.
•Magik and DOCTOR STRANGE send off their forces to secure the other Star Stones while trying to figure out who this Thanatos is.
•DOCTOR VOODOO and ELSA BLOODSTONE teleport to the Nordic cairn of Sharkosh the Shaman to secure the Star Stone entombed within but find renegade K'un-Lun mystic QUAN-ST'AR and succubus illusionist DREAMQUEEN already there.
•And on the edge of the Sol system, a green planet rolls in its horror unheeded toward Earth.

“SLINGS AND ARROWS!”
New York City: SHARON and KASPER are sitting in separate detention cells at one of the newly formed ARROW facilities. The new division was formed by the U.S. gov't to replace the now defunct SHIELD and in the wake of nearly going to war with WAKANDA. Using the genius of former AIM leader and Scientist Supreme ANDREW FORSOM, they have developed highly advanced tech and weaponry along with state of the art facilities. They have totally erased all STARK tech that was being used before.
Both SHARON and KASPER are being interrogated about why they were at the abandoned station in the Arctic and they continue to give the same answer. The agents questioning SHARON in particular are becoming frustrated by her smugness and her lack of feeling intimidated by them. After a few more hours of getting nowhere, a door opens and a voice tells agents to get out and SHARON is shocked to see who enters. Former SHIELD Director CLAY QUARTERMAN runs ARROW and he wants SHARON to tell him what Don Quixote' crusade is NICK FURY on this time! Next Issue: Agents of Something.

The Egyptian goddess Heqet is pissed. She has noticed in many versions of planet Earth where frogs are abused, tortured, killed, and otherwise disrespected. As a result of mankind’s deeds, she has decreed that their worlds must perish and be reborn. For she is goddess of fertility and rebirth and either has a full frog body or a frog head. Only one hero remains to stop her. Throg, Frog of Thunder and wielder of the hammer known as Frogjolnir. Once a human named Simon Walterson, he was cursed to become a frog. This also angered Heqet as being a frog is NOT a curse. Throg was unable to save his planet and it was destroyed by Heqet. Barely escaping with his life, Throg was able to locate one of many dimensional transference devices resembling frogs, known on many worlds as King Solomon’s Frogs.
Unable to stop the onslaught, Throg was face with only three Earths surviving.
Earth B&B: where delinquent boys known as Beavis and Butthead play baseball using frogs to hit with bats.
Earth R&S: where a chihuahua named Ren Houk and a cat called Stimson J. Cat used to abuse frogs in their youth, although that was mostly Ren.
And the worst Heqet will save even longer than she saves the previous two.
Earth RML: where a family of frogs known as the Bigheads suffer due to the petty beliefs and hatreds of Ed Bighead. His friend Rocko, a wallaby has been ineffectual in bringing Ed to a more righteous path.
Heqet has sworn vengeance and she will have it unless Throg can assemble a team from the aforementioned characters to thwart her scheme and convince her to recreate the Earths. By the way, your Earth is gone as well. This solicitation is a memory in your soul as it faces final judgment. Luckily there’s a long line of deceased so there still may be time to reed the book before you perished forever. It may all come down to Ed Bighead’s children Ralph and Rachel Bighead, actually the same frog from two points in their life together for the first time anywhere. Can Ed’s child, pre and post transition come together and convince a goddess that we are worth saving?

The situation with N'Gabo is becoming increasingly intense! Wakandan spies have learned that President Markus Zulu, with the secret help of Moses Magnum is pushing the country to become a tech super-power! But what they don't know is that Zulu is trying to develop his country's first super-soldier program as well! Does Wakanda strike first against N'Gabo, re-igniting the Three Month War?
Elsewhere, The White Queen Adrienne Frost and her counterpart Gorgon are plotting to kill Medusa, the newest addition to the Inner Circle and an ally of T'Challa. They have to be discreet so that it doesn't trace back to them. But Gorgon tells her that T'Challa will sense their hand in this so they shouldn't wait! Their next move should be to kill the Black Panther!
Elsewhere in the Wakandan Royal Gardens, T'Challa and his son T'Zari walk through rows of flowers and the sound of trickling streams. He wants to teach his son about the history of Wakanda and The Panther Clan, his ancestors. Suddenly he gets a message from Shuri. She tells him that everything is in place and she has contacted the people he requested. All is ready and awaiting his orders. T'Challa tells her to proceed with the plan and to make sure that they bring him the prize!

16th Century London: Lord Percival Stroud was one of the most powerful men in the king's court. He owned land in Britain, Scotland and France and was a man of great influence along with his wife, Lady Catherine. Lord Stroud was also a man who liked to indulge in all manner of earthly delights. And unknown to him, Lady Catherine indulged in her own carnal pleasures. In fact, one such night with a common street beggar resulted in the birth of a son. Years later, Stroud would learn of his wife's indiscretion and could not bear the humiliation. So, his wife soon died under mysterious circumstances and the boy who was 10 years old at the time and living in an orphanage was found by Stroud's guards, beaten and buried alive.
The present, just past midnight at a graveyard near a small town outside of London, a grave is being dug. However, it's not to put a body in the ground but rather to bring one out and this isn't the first time this particular body has been unearthed. DISTURBIA, CARRION, BARONESS BLOOD and MAD MAX along with one other look on as the diggers nervously rush to complete their task. Once the body has been taken out of the grave, the two men are violently attacked by the BARONESS, their blood drained out of their bodies. The corpse pulled out of the ground is gently unwrapped and beings to stir, his eyes open to reveal...nothing! The man who arrived with the others looks and kisses him on the forehead and tells him, "...welcome back, THE CRYING MAN lives again!"

The Star Stone was the power core of their nation's defense system, the only thing the masses believed was keeping the ETERNALS from wiping them out... though Kro knew that his occasional lover THENA and her perfectly immortal family only cared whether or not his eternally mutating family threatened Earth's other inhabitants.

On the journey from Earth to the opposite side of the sun, there is something in the way. The sun itself. The mysterious problem spoken of last issue is one many readers who understand the structure of the Solar System already have pointed out. There is not enough loose mass to create another Earth inside planetary orbits. This is when Hank Pym enlarges and offers the solution he and Franklin Hall had discussed. Hall would grab gravitationally, a large piece of the Sun, dragging it our 93,000,.000 miles. Pym would use his Pym particles to INCREASE the size of the mass while Hall crushes it with gravity to create Earth elements, not just hydrogen.
Can our heroes (and villain) manage to actually create a planet?
“POWER BALANCE”
In a bonus second story (we couldn’t stand to go back and forth with these epic developments), the Baxter Building sees the collection of Jenn Walters, Johnny Storm, Wyatt Wingfoot, Ben Grimm, and “Paste Pot” Pete Petruski. While Ben tries to get used to the new folks (“Paste Pot Pete? Are U f’g serious?”), he and Jenn both have doubts about Johnny’s leadership abilities. And as Johnny tries to gain control over the staff meeting, they are interrupted by young Franklin and his robot buddy, H.E.R.B.I.E. who is seen by others for the first time.

Then he lost his powers, went to Hell (literally), got negated, and joined the mob. His role as mafioso ended when he smashed the Don of the Manfredi crime family. The “Joe Fixit” persona didn’t fix $&@#, succeeding only in getting him targeted by both the law and the criminals. Banner’s psyche needed a new beginning… and his increasingly fragmented mind found it in the form of a brash, cocky (and orange) hyper-athlete!
