We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for DECEMBER 2022!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open all month and sales are tallied at the end of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

Things were going well for the couple until Sen Kelly received a mysterious envelope with information that would change his life forever. He held a private meeting with his wife Sharon and his former mentor Nick Fury to discuss what he learned. A week later Senator Joseph T. Kelly, a promising politician who many felt would become President one day, died in a car accident.
Eight months after her husbands' death, Sharon Kelly won the seat once held by her husband become Senator. She promised to carry on his work and with the love and support of millions across they country she announced that she would run for President. But there were loose ends that needed to be taken care of. That fateful night, a week before her husband Joseph died, he discovered a secret. It was a secret that Sharon and Fury shared, a secret that they both decided that Senator Kelly had to die for!
Today, she and Fury are waging a private war. Joseph maybe dead but the secret they all shared is still alive and it's even more important that it remain hidden. Kelly's team has captured two of Fury's spies, Nomad and Diamondback, and plans to use them as bait. But Sharon won't give up, she can hear the cries of their child and will stop at nothing until she is in her arms again! There is a connection between them that cannot be explained, perhaps it's because Hera is a new life form in the universe. She is the creation of the union between human and Cylon, the very first of her kind! They are all determined to find Hera but their quest may end before it truly begins as their Raptor has been intercepted by a Cylon Raider!
Elsewhere, aboard Galactica, Adm. Adama, Col. Tigh and President Roslin begin to assess the status of the fleet. The Pegasus sacrificed itself to help free the colonists back on New Earth, not to mention the many lives lost under Cylon occupation. Despite gaining their freedom, there are reports of low morale and an increase in violent behavior, especially among the survivors of The Occupation as it is now being called. If Adama, Roslin and Tigh can't pull everyone back together, they may be in danger of losing the fleet forever!

Threats and challenges are nothing new to T'Challa but this time, there is something different. There is someone or something out there, lurking in the shadows trying hard to stay unnoticed. But there are subtle hints, small hidden elements that only he would take notice of. It's one thing to know that there is a threat, however it's another thing entirely to know where that threat is coming from!
He wipes away the screens, all except one: that of his son T'Zari. He looks at the image hard, studying every facet. Finally, he closes the screen. He has a big day today. He will take an entourage with him to N'Gabo where he will meet with President Markus Zulu. N'Gabo fell to Wakanda in the Three Month War so it is only fitting that Zulu would plot another attack. There are questions that must be answered quickly. He knows that The Red King Moses Magnum has been helping Zulu but there is another. Who else is aiding Zulu? Also, what other secret did T'Challa uncover while looking at all those images?

While Reed Richards and Nadia Pym and secluded deep inside the Baxter Building in hopes that Reed can find the secret behind the 5D and 6D folks interest in Hank Pym along with Franklin and Valeria, Ben Grimm, H.E.R.B.I.E., and Moon Girl guard both the family and the HQ. While Tony is facing off against the U.S. gov't in court, the Hammer Girls have launched an all-out assault against Stark Enterprises with their Iron-Buster Squad! The only standing between Stark Ent. and certain destruction is James Rhodes and his War Machine armor! The odds are three-to-one against Rhodey but odds don't mean much when you're pissed-off and tired of being attacked! In the courtroom, SDNY Attorney Kate Elsworth rests her case against Tony and his company and it's quite compelling! Things aren't looking good for Tony right now!
Denny Crane, lead Atty. for Crane, Poole and Schmidt call their first witness to the stand, the defendant himself Tony Stark. Crane asks Tony one question, why didn't he make weapons for the U.S. gov't? Tony says that the answer was quite simple: there was no one smart enough in the gov't that could understand, let alone use his technology. Simply put, the gov't was too dumb to use his tech!
The judge calls order to the courtroom after a few snickers could be heard in the gallery. Crane then calls gov't agents to the stand and asks them to explain how the tech on the screen works which none of them can do. Crane then asks the judge to dismiss the charges against his client. He didn't fail in his legal obligations to provide weapons for the gov't, the gov't was just too dumb to figure out how to use it! Next Issue: The Verdict!

“WERE’S THE CAVALRY!”
Spider-Man isn’t a hero who saves universes regularly. But he does all right against thugs and the occasional super-villain. However, when he faces six baddies, the odds change. A lot. Fisk’s Sinister Six have hunted down and found Spidey in NYC. As seen in the Annual (still on sale – buy the darn book already), Peter did well vs one foe and if that was going to be the case, great. However, as the villains found themselves going down individually, the thought crossed their minds to team up.
Spidey then got his butt kicked good, barely managing to escape. Then his phone buzzed with a text from the Bugle that Jonah Jameson has been kidnapped. Seems Fisk had found out about the use of Bugle computers (by Peter and Gwen) to investigate Fisk’s lackeys. Jameson, to his credit, is saying enough to keep Fisk from killing him, but not enough to cause anyone any damage. Pete seeks out John Jameson, Jonah’s son and ex-astronaut for assistance in helping him rescue Jonah and Aunt May.
Young Jameson is a werewolf and tonight is the first night of a new full moon cycle. But six against two are better odds.

Toomes is being forced to be part of a group of metas working for Wilson Fisk. Yes, THAT Wilson Fisk. Along with Dr Octopus, the Rhino, Mysterio, Vermin, and the Lizard, Fisk has assembled a team of enforcers to strike back against his up until now, secretive criminal empire. Now is when Peter decides that Capt. Stacy advice is no longer worth following.

In ancient times, Crystalium was dominated by the Hell Lord known as AMMON, the Force of Chaos!
Only with intervention of ZHERED-NA, Sorceress Supreme of Earth, High Prophet of Atlantis, was the demon defeated!
Repurposing an evil artefact, Zhered-Na worked with the local CRYSTALLINE CONJURER of the era to create the PRISMA-CRYSTAL, sealing Ammon away.
In modern times, the Prisma-Crystal was corrupted and shattered (see SORCERERS OF THE STARS #5).
IKA, the modern Crystalline Conjurer, has reforged the prized artifact, using it as a focus for her spellcraft.
