We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for FEBRUARY 2023!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open all month and sales are tallied at the end of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

Fascists, white supremacists, neo-Nazis and their ilk are now insinuated into the government at the deepest levels.
But it’s not enough. Never enough. Zemo wants it all!
And what he wants first is the head of those who defy him. The international fugitives / refugees formally known as the THUNDERBOLTS!
When the nations providing them sanctuary refuse to extradite them, Zemo declares WAR!

Roz Solomon, Jack Flagg and Rikki Barnes have infiltrated the complex and initiated an attack, drawing the attention of the gunman!
The sound of gunfire echoes ring out as Rachel and Jack sit with four guards in the room with them! Suddenly, as if out of thin air, Scorpio and Agent-13 appear in the room and quickly take out the guards! They free their fellow agents and vanish as quickly as they entered the room! Alerting their teammates that they've freed Diamondback and Nomad, the agents make their escape and radio Fury that everyone is home!

While searching for the missing child Hera, Sharon, Helo, Apollo and Starbuck encounter a Cylon Raider! As they scramble to prepare for an attack, they're stunned to see the Raider just sitting there, not doing anything. A scan reveals that the Raider is damaged, its' weapons system disabled. Starbucks thinks that it's a drone on a scouting mission and that they should destroy it and get the hell out of there! But before they can do anything, they get a message. It's Brother Cavil, one of The Ten. He tells them that he knows why they are out here and that he has information for them: The child is alive. Hera, the hybrid child is alive and the Cylons have her!
Elsewhere, Kat, Racetrack, Hotshot and Redwing have just found a planet rich in mineral and natural resources, much needed supplies for the fleet! The only problem is that they've also found Cylons on the planet! But these are no ordinary Cylons, they say that they have evolved beyond their programming, they no longer wish to harm humans. They call themselves The People and they have lived on this planet for years. And to show them that they pose no danger, they call for the rest of their group to show themselves, a group made up entirely of humans!

T'Challa informs Shuri to check the intel gathered by Okoye from their trip to N'Gabo. They confirmed that Zulu and Magnum are working together to create a Super Soldier program, no doubt to use against Wakanda and the rest of the world. But there were other, mysterious readings, readings somehow related to...T'Challa? Suddenly, T'Challa thinks back to something earlier, something that maybe connected to this new threat! But that while have to wait as he prepares to leaves for Niganda to see his son T'Zari!
Arriving in Niganda, T'Challa is greeted by Queen Zanda and her royal court but surprisingly, he doesn't see T'Zari. Zanda tells him that their son is training, honing his skills so that he can be like his father. She takes him to a room so that he can see T'Zari take on various challenges, from human opponents to robots to wild beasts. He will soon be ready one day to pick up his father's mantle. T'Challa watches his son move as his father T'Chaka once watched him. Zanda looks at T'Challa noting a moment of sadness on his face and asks if there is something wrong. After a long pause he tells her no, everything is perfect, he could not ask for a better son.

Suddenly, the United States is a fascist and totalitarian regime in a constant state of expansionist war. Literal Nazis are in power, with a fortress on Wall Street and a “Captain Axis” spouting their virtues. This is all horrifyingly shocking until Steve sees the man in charge - a führer with a supposedly grand lineage named Heinz Zemo - and then he knows exactly what happened. Helmut Zemo did something to change the past - and, since Cap is from the past, he’s the only one that notices!
Steve’s been a man out of time for two years by our counting (since CAPTAIN AMERICA #27!), but it’s been so much longer from his perspective. He formed the Brotherhood of the Shield with Conan in the Hyborian Age, defended nascent democracy in Ancient Athens from Ares, fought with Robin Hood to save the Magna Carta, battled superhuman redcoats alongside the Founding Fathers, and struggled against Frankenstein monsters during World War II, to name just a few of his temporal exploits, before ultimately returning to save 2099 (see previous issues!). Diablo the Demon from the Fifth Dimension is defeated and the heroes of the F² Foundation stand ready to stand with or fight whoever in the battle between the 4 dimensional TVA and the invaders from five and six dimensional realms. The consensus from the team is to hold back and wait to pick a side.
Henry Pym is not playing that game, though. He goes in, makeshift guns blazing, adding and subtracting mass from the 4, 5, and 6 D beings battling. His Pym Particles which allow him to take or send eight dimensional dark matter into or from his body are weaponized and fired into this foes.
At first, the attack appears to work as the armies are caught and feeling the effects of growth and shrinkage. But it’s painful and although it works smoothly for a 3D being, using it on 4 or greater D beings is like putting a flat sticker onto an irregular three dimensional object. Wrinkles and no smooth fit.
Desperate to stop the pain, the TVA and their attackers use a doomsday device. Once there were realities with up to 11 dimensions. Now there is only a point. The only zero dimensional construct.
The Dimension War concludes next issue.

Back in the courtroom, Howard Stark begins his testimony against Tony, his own son! Howard tells the court that he had a long-standing contract with the U.S. gov't that says that they would produce capable weapons no matter who was in charge of the company. He says that Tony breached the contract when he made weapons far too advanced for the gov't to use and possible put American lives at risk! Gasps, can be heard in the courtroom as the judge calls for order! Has Howard's testimony put Tony in legal jeopardy and more importantly, destroyed their relationship?

Baron Zemo has not only usurped control of the United States, he’s also usurped custody of Magni and Modi Thorson!
As Zemo sees it, the Teutonic Gods were once the patron deities of conquering vikings and berserkers. They brought strength and power to every region that worshipped them. Then weak Latin Christianity spread like a creeping disease throughout Europe. Ironically, this caused even the gods themselves to lose their way and become feeble. Odin could not even maintain control over the Nine Realms, and his shameful heir Thor granted them each independence. Pathetic! Zemo will personally remind the gods what it means to be Aryan. With the Enchantress (or is that the “Emerald Witch”?) by his side, he will raise Thor’s twins to be true heroes - like the Baron himself!
In Valhalla, a thunderous cry shakes the very foundations of the afterlife: “ZEMOOOOOOOO!!!!” The All-Father King Thor fell in battle nine months ago (see THE MIGHTY THOR #41) and Asgard has been attempting to pick up the pieces ever since. Yet now the unthinkable has happened. A mad villain has kidnapped his beloved sons and plots to warp their young, impressionable minds with a vile and corrupt ideology. Thor says thee nay! Steve Rogers is back from the 2099 (see WORLD WAR ZEMO #1, CAPTAIN AMERICA #50), but unbeknownst to him someone else hitched a ride on the time platform… the Maestro! He’s got a plan to forge his own perfect future - and he’s willing to help even Baron Zemo to do it!
Meanwhile, General Thaddeus Ross has been the “official” Hulk for some time now. Yet Zemo has rejected all of Ross’ non-Aryan Avengers teammates. Thaddeus, however, Zemo is willing to keep… provided that he pledges his loyalty. But Thunderbolt Ross’ father Alexander Ross fought Nazis during World War II, and Thaddeus will be damned if he’ll help their descendants conquer America now! Red Hulk smash!

Helmut Zemo has become US Secretary of Defense. Fu Manchu long time villain with a powerful interest in his own success and safety has noticed this and is developing a plan to keep this development from hurting him at all. He finds the chip in Zemo’s armor to be Wolfgang von Strucker, now Secretary of Homeland Security. Strucker has three children, none of whom hew cares about. While one of them is also serving in the US Government under Zemo, there are two others, Andreas and Andrea, known as the Fenris Twins with powers. Although killing the twins may not matter to Strucker, knowledge that he doesn’t care about them could hurt the popularity of the Zemo movement.
Just north of the USA is a nation known as Canada. Canada, understandably, is somewhat concerned with the proliferation of pseudo-nazis in the US cabinet. Norrin Radd arrives on a desert world, once a great civilization, destroyed in the great war.
During the great war, worlds were massacred, and now, Galactus hungers.
The only survivors on this planet are an old man and his grandchild, and they have not seen any water in many cycles.
The old man prays on his knees for rain just as the herald descends from heaven.
Silver Surfer tells them that this world will be a sacrifice at the altar of Galactus, to provide the need of the Great Devourer.
And he offers to take them to another world to live a better life.
The old man refuses to leave but prays for Surfer to take the child.
Surfer uses Power Cosmic to change the environment on the planet, rearranging the water molecules in the atmosphere ,creating one last rain as his mind reaches across the folds of reality and calls out to Galactus.
As Norrin leaves with the child in his arms to find a safe planet, rain pours from the sky onto the destroyed cities.
The old man weeps in joy as he sees flowers grow from the barren lands one last time.
After the rain, cometh the thunders of the almighty Galactus.

J Jonah Jameson, Jr. and May Parker are safe. After their rescue last issue, NYPD and the FBI made a raid on Wilson Fisk’s offices having evidence he was behind the criminal gang known as the Sinister Six. Originally one of the Six, it was discovered Adrian Toomes, alias the Vulture had been forced to act on Fisk’s behalf with May Parker as a hostage. Toomes joined forces with the vigilante known only as Spider-Man and an as yet unidentified hairy being (if you read the last issue, you’d know this is John Jameson, Man-Wolf and J Jonah’s son).
Jameson Jr., publisher of the daily Bugle website has obtained security footage of Fisk’s building where he and May were being held. The footage shows Spidey carrying Parker and Jameson out to safety. Jonah starts a campaign impugning Spidey as a coward which bothers Peter (May’s nephew and Spider-Man as well as a videographer for the Bugle.
Peter has one last visit to make to Capt. George Stacy, NYPD and father to Gwen, Peter’s hopeful GF. Pete is adamant about his appearance as Spider-Man in rescuing Fisk’s hostages. Luckily Stacy agrees with him based on the circumstances.
And, oh yeah, Pete decides on a college.

ULIK THE TROLL: WORLD WAR ZEMO

Trolls. A once noble race that has long been manipulated by malevolent forces into conflicts with the gods themselves… conflicts that typically went poorly for the trolls. After their homeland was lost and their invasion of Asgard was halted, the trolls were placed in internment camps on Vanaheim by Odin(as revealed way back in the Mighty Thor #0 & 1!). One troll, however, never surrendered.
Ulik led his people to escape the camps, eventually teaming up with Thor against a rampaging Hulk and earning the god of thunder’s respect. The trolls were subsequently granted part of Vanaheim as their new homeland (see the Mighty Thor #4). “Trollheim” is now a haven for all trolls, regardless of tribe, and Ulik is their High Chieftain… and champion.
When Ulik learns that a half-troll named Gunna (codenamed, appropriately, “Troll”) seeks asylum in Vanaheim (see NO MORE THUNDERBOLTS #3), he takes interest. Having learned that Gunna magically arrived in the city of Zanadu in the Mystic Mountains just outside Trollheim’s borders, Ulik personally leads a “diplomatic” band to ensure her safety and offer her a homeland. This band consists of Ulik’s brother Horth, Ulik’s mate Ulla, the wise elder crone Askella, and the brave warriors Gaark and Ud. He can’t be too careful, for Ulik has heard many strange things about Zanadu…
However, Ulik isn’t the only one interested in Gunna. She’s only half troll. Her other half is Vanir. In fact, she is the lost niece of Hogun the Grim, member of the famed Warriors Three. Hogun was born in Zanadu and suspects his late sister told Gunna much about their birthplace, which is why she returned there. Accordingly, he returns alongside Fandral and Volstagg to claim custody of his wayward niece. And he’s quickly reminded of why he left…
Yet little do Ulik or Hogun know, Vanaheim is about to be invaded by Zemo’s forces from Midgard! They, too, want Gunna… but they want her dead!
