We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for APRIL 2023!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open all month and sales are tallied at the end of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

Adam wears a cloak as disguise to avoid causing too much trouble. Unknown to Adam, another figure in cloak is following him.
In a bar, Adam is looking for information regarding the other "Hims", but was distracted by a conflict.
A drunk troll got into a bar fight with a group of aliens, that's right, it's our old friend, Pip the Troll!
But before Adam can step in to help his friend, the cloaked stalker stopped him. She then draws a blade and scares off the aliens.
In the alley outside the bar, the cloaked figure reveals her face.
Gamora, the most dangerous woman in the galaxy!
She tells Adam that she was hired to keep an eye on him, so that he can avoid troubles.
During the War, Adam was the one to break the God-Seal, so he may be able to seal it again.
The mysterious benefactor of Gamora believes there might be other forces looking for Adam Warlock.
As a gesture of good faith, Gamora gives Adam something from her benefactor.

Adama and President Roslin have arrived on the planet to see for themselves, how humans and Cylons live and work side-by-side. They call themselves The People and they have lived here together for centuries! Stunned, Adama asks the question: How did this happen, Cylons and humans together? Raina and Xavin, leaders of the people tell them that this has been the way since their ancestors arrived here centuries ago.
The earliest people were explorers, travelling through the universe in search of other worlds. Their ships were having problems and crash landed here. They were far from home with no way of getting back or communicating with the other colonies. So they made their home here. Since they all had to work together for survival, their Cylon servants were granted their freedom and viewed as equals. This has been passed down for generations and soon they all became known as The People. Raina has agreed to allow their new guests to have access to their resources and offered to have them stay. Adama thanks Raina and Xavin for their generosity but he has his doubts. He remembers what happened on New Caprica. Can humans and Cylons truly live together in peace?

Amidst the chaos in Washington D.C., with Baron Zemo’s new establishment “Redeemers” engaged in protracted battle against super heroic freedom fighters, one contest stood out from the rest. Two “Captain Americas” were colliding. One represented everlasting warlike aggression, the other peace through eternal vigilance. But one was a god of antiquity, and the other merely peak human. Ares was fighting Steve Rogers, and Steve was loosing…
But Steve sounded the call. “Avengers Assemble.” And Avengers did answer! When the mighty Thor finally arrived (to a mutual “I thought you were dead!?”), he tossed Steve the hammer Mjolnir and empowered him to victory! An enraged Thor proceeded to tear the “Axe of America” Ares in two!

•M and twin PENANCE have found the Hexus core: a techno-organic amalgam of several technopathic and technokinetic mutants at an Amaterasu Array earth station! Hexus believes the intruders won't try to physically separate BLACK BOX, FRANCISCO MILAN, HIJAK, and PARADIGM from the hivebody and hivemind but M's telepathic incisions and Penance's razor-sharp excisions soon free them.
•In orbit, SUNFIRE's solar plasma obliterates an infected Amaterasu Array satellite, cutting off any interstellar corporate escape. On Earth, SIRYN' healing song restores the absorbed mutants to healthy, wholly organic existence. The Crimson Court have prevailed.
•The rest happened quite organically. Rising dissent against Zemo's totalitarian rule, anti-mutant policies, and general evil turn the public against his administration and Hexus, and they're soon cancelled online! When stock prices plummets, a consortium of Frost Enterprises and Hinomaru Corp. buys 51% of Hexus. Unable to complete its life cycle and spawn off to another world, Hexus is firmly under the control of the Outer Sphere, and its mutant rhetoric will be very different from now on.

Now they want information. INFORMATION. What happens in the imperfect future?
Sharzhad was the turning point. Sultan Magus used found alien technology to become a god-like force in the Middle East. His only limitation was that he could never get the tech to work beyond Sharzhad’s borders. Zemo found a way… and the world was forever changed.
Zemo truly became as supreme as he believed himself to be, ruling alongside domesticated gods Magni and Modi, ever surrounded by elite Redeemers. Zemo consolidated control of America, Atlantis, and Madripoor before conquering China, then Wakanda, then pretty much everywhere else on Earth and many places beyond including Vanaheim and the Moon. But like any edifice built upon division rather than unity, it couldn’t last…
His Redeemer generals coveted their own power and territory, descending into bickering and then outright conflict. The social contract shattered, and when the dust settled much of the world was reduced to wasteland.
Hither came the Maestro.
The “Dark Avengers” aim to stop this future before it arises. But it’s already too late. Zemo already did it. He gained control of the Sharzhadi technology and was using it to attack Washington D.C. at that very moment. Maestro let the motley collection of anti-villains believe he was captured simply to distract them, keeping them from interfering as he knew they had the potential to change history. As Redeemer forces descend on their location, the well-orchestrated symphony of destruction begins… and there’s only one Maestro!

Thor arrives in Washington D.C. to see his friend Steve Rogers both alive and fighting their mutual enemies! Ares, an Olympian god with whom Thor has extensive history, threw his lot in with Zemo and hijacked Steve’s mantle… but Thor says thee nay! Flushed with the Odin Force and new power attained during his recent resurrection - he rips the Olympian war god in twain!
With strength from Hel still pulsating hot within his veins, Thor looks at where he is: Washington, D.C. America’s seat of power. It reminds him of the last time he was there, when Asgard warred with the United States (see the now classic event CIVIL WAR). Twice, now, the Midgardian nation had been usurped by corrupt leaders that threatened his people. He is so close… should not Thor claim the White House himself? Should not he lead America on the proper course and prevent it from going further astray? Is this not what is best? Or is this the Hel energy influencing Thor’s perception? If Steve Rogers (holding a borrowed Mjolnir) can’t talk him down, will there be another Civil War?
And just when a clear-headed Thor is needed most, Baron Zemo returns with an army enhanced by god-like Sharzhadi technology!
Meanwhile, Mockingbird has managed to reach Thor’s abducted kids and help them break Zemo’s mental programming. Now she’s got to escape with young Magni and Modi - but the “Emerald Witch” Amora is standing in their way!

MISTRESS OF KUNG FU season 2: “Brothers and Sisters” #9 *a World War Zemo tie-in*

The Fenris Twins, Andreas and Andrea Strucker, have made their strike against, in their words, the “wurst reich” of Baron Zemo, currently the US Secretary of Defense. Zemo took this poorly and had a word with Director of Homeland Security Wolfgang von Strucker.
Sir Denis Nayland Smith of MI-6 suspects the Canadian government has broken its anti-nuke treaties and is in possession of nuclear weapons. He reports this to the UK PM and hears the EU is making their own plans (See the Doom story in On The Battlefield). Could Zemo be responsible for the UK rejoining the EU?

He’s also very interested in science and wanted to branch into that area.
The old problems with gangsters running book on NYC High School sports has taken an odd turn. The NYPD/FBI task force investigating Wilson Fisk has him in custody after the kidnapping of Jonah Jameson and May Parker. The evidence of Fisk’s criminal activities and his impending trial has caused the cessation of most of those activities. Most of Fisk’s senior staff are currently fleeing the country or at least separating ties. A few low level grunts are getting their feet wet, but the streets are remarkably quiet at a time when a rush to take the recently abandoned capo’s chair was expected.
