We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for AUGUST 2023!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open all month and sales are tallied at the end of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

Adam Warlock is now both more of himself and less of himself.
After absorbing the soul of his past self into the Soul Gem, Adam Warlock wakes up back in the real world outside the bar on Shi'ar.
Epiphany!
Our main character now realizes that he is broken, just like the cosmos itself.
Warlock sacrificed himself to destroy the seal that locked all the gods during the Negation.
But that shouldn't be possible for any single cosmic entity even one as powerful as Warlock.
The reason he was able to destroy the god seal is because he didn't just explode one himself, but all him selves.
Along his cosmic kismet path. Adam Warlock in that moment sacrificed him selves across all time and space and created a new genesis point.
But due to Warlock's special connection to the Soul Gem, his broken soul managed to take over a clone Adam Cocoon created by High Evolutionary for Ultron during the Annihilation Conquest.
Just like himself, all of past selves and future selves have done the same, and now they are all loose upon this time period and in this universe.
But unlike himself, the other cocoons are broken long before his is broken.
And that was exactly why Adam came to Shi'ar Empire.
He saw in his vision that there is another himself in Shi'ar, fighting as a gladiator in a galaxy that hates him.
At the exact same time in the arena, the other Adam from the vision is beaten down to the ground.
The warrior beating the gladiator into a bloody pulp is unsurprisingly, another Adam.
And upon the forehead of the warrior Adam, the Power Gem, another one of the six Infinity Gems?!

Tensions are very high and all it takes is a spark to ignite an inferno! And now that she knows where Hera is, she will push even harder to goad them into war. If they're too busy fighting each other, they won't be able to stop her from rescuing Hera and leaving with her daughter! Sharon knows that she doesn't have much time left so she has to make her move now!
Gaius and Number Six know that they have a serious problem. The Children of Hera have become even more fanatical in their worship, willing to harm anyone who they think is a threat to her. Also, the Inner Council cannot allow the religious movement around Hera to grow even larger. They know the Council won't do anything to harm the child but that doesn't mean that they won't do anything to them! The Council will send someone after them and so they all will have to get off Caprica! “IDENTITY CRISIS” part two “AND YOUR LITTLE SPIDER TOO”
The mantle of Captain America is finally safe with Steve Rogers after he defeated Arkady Rossovich, freezing “Omega Red” in ice… hopefully forever. But there are other imposters that formed the “Dark Avengers” yet to be dealt with.
Thaddeus Ross, the Red Hulk, is the easiest. He really was just looking for a way back to his old position after being fired for mistakes made during the “Civil War” event (General Ross sided with the Vanir and brought America to war with Asgard, see CIVIL WAR #1-4). In the intervening time, Ross fought against Zemo and partially redeemed himself, so Steve is willing to give him another chance! Is this a mistake?
Natasha and Bucky are less forgiving of Tilda “Deadly Nightshade” Johnson and Davos the Steel Serpent, who usurped the “Black Widow” and “Winter Soldier” names respectively. They’re going to handle things their way…
This just leaves Anton Miguel Rodriguez, f.k.a. “Tarantula,” perhaps the worst of the bunch. He’s leader of the Los Arañas Delvadia gang and has been using his official “Dark Avenger” status to flood the country with his army of killers and criminals from South America. Worse still, he is doing this using the stolen name “Spider-Man.” Steve knows a kid from Queens who might take issue with that and want to do something about it. It’s Captain America and the one-and-only, real friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in a team-up that will hopefully end this so-called “identity crisis”!

Although neither stated nor denied, Storm’s familial relationship with high ranking members of the Foundation (brother John Storm, CEO and husband Reed Richards, PhD) is believed to have been instrumental in her selection to the post.
The staffing addition comes at a time when Gideon Industries is making a powerful attempt to acquire F². Gregory Gideon was the incumbent that Storm defeated in her election to the United States Senate.
Foundation counsel Jennifer Walters, in a prepared statement has said, “Gregory Gideon’s attempts will be thwarted and are not a reason for Dr. Storm’s joining the F² team.”

Can Shen Qi stop her father’s plan? Will Shang Chi help her? Have recent events been able to turn Shang Chi against his evil despot father?

As a result of that Garcia has revealed her identity as the underground personality Senora Suerte, Mistress Luck. With her back to the wall, her brother, Jaime Garcia has entered the picture as the mob enforcer Senor Muerte, Mr. Death. Jaime has been identified as the shooter of Jean DeWolff (remember that?).
The Garcia siblings are believed to be mutants with the powers of disrupting probability fields as well as Jaime’s death touch. Peter, as Spider-Man managed to stop a minor attempt to sway Flash Thompson’s college choice to best help the Garcia’s gambling racket. Mr. Death has responded by seeking to handle the web-spinner himself personally.
Can Spidey survive a fight with a foe whose very touch will kill him?

Silver Surfer has learned a new trick to give his power cosmic to Firelord, but this new trick has also left himself almost depleted.
Norrin Radd tells Firelord to find help, while he alone will hold the line here against the mighty Tyrant.
While Firelord lflees from the Fortress of Tyrant, Silver Surfer transforms his surfboard into a great sword.
And Norrin makes his war with the ancient enemy of his master Galactus.
But Tyrant finally defeats and captures Norrin.
As the Living Machine absorbs powers from the Silver Surfer, Tyrant tells Norrin that he respects Norrin's noble sacrifice.
And as a gesture of respect, Tyrant shows Norrin his memories from a distant past, the reasons for his rebellion.
The motives behind his crusade against the almighty Galactus, their creator.
With Negation, the powers of Anti Magic, superhuman powers were… Negated! The exception were, of course, magic, and technology.
Anti-magic did not work on technology.
And that, was the reason Tyrant, the living machine was created.
By giving a machine powers equal to his own, Galactus prepared for the return of his brother Charon a billion years ago.
The great machine would fight his war for him, and kill his brother for him.
But the machine gained sentience, and with sentience, came the same hunger that plagued Galactus.
Unable to sate his hunger, Tyrant rebelled against Galactus, and there was a War in Heaven.
Tyrant failed and was exiled by his creator from paradise, to only be known as the ancient cosmic conqueror.
After the failure at creating a purely technological weapon, Galactus began his search for soldiers.
And that, was the reason the Heralds of Galactus were created!?

It was in September of 2017 that Hank “Beast” McCoy tendered his resignation as President of the United States. He’d served less than two years, but in that time he’d accomplished a lot. He’d helped manage the fallout after a weapon of mass mutation detonated over Buenos Aires. He dissolved KSI Industries, which hid Decepticon technology in Sentinels that it manufactured as part of Megatron’s scheme to conquer Earth. He exposed Senator Kelly’s deep state conspiracy and collusion with Bastion. He effectuated regime change in Krakoa, personally leading Seal Team X to take out Dark Beast. He ended global warming and, at the same time, foiled HYRDRA’s attempt to take over the world. Many have come to view his administration as a huge success in hindsight, especially given what’s been happening since then.
Hank himself still looks back on his campaign with fondness, smiling as he remembers his slogan - “McCoy 2016: The Next Stage in American Evolution!” With a rather weak slate of potential candidates for 2024, is it time for Hank to throw his proverbial hat back in the race? Can we hope for a return of President Beast?
