We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for OCTOBER-NOVEMBER 2023!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open for a month and sales are tallied on the third Friday of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

Most of her students only want to learn to control their powers, and how to live in a world that hates and fears them.
But a select few elect to join the PARAGONS, a squad of X-Men in training!
With Silhouette as Dean of Students, things are running smoothly.
They even have fully accredited teachers for actual education subjects like math, history, and more!
But, and this is weird, it turns out, there’s another school on the moon?
On the dark side of the moon is the TRANQUILITY GULCH PREPARATORY SCHOOL.
Unlike Academy X, TGP is a cut-throat for profit school, attended by the mutant scions of the world’s most wealth.
Their elite super-squad is called the DARK RIDERS, and they’re looking to ignite a rivalry!

Ryu Mok-won’s life has always been dictated by the whims of chance.
It was Chance that lead her parents to join Reverand Park’s Glorification Church cult. Chance that got them shipped to Los Angeles to proselytize. Chance that gave her the chance to escape. Chance that got her taken in by X-Men Silver. Chance that took her to the moon, literally.
So when Dean Silhouette suggested Mok-won choose a mutant name… she chose CHANCE.
Now, if only she knew what her mutant power was — and why Silhouette and Karma chose her for the Paragons!
In fact, she’s confused about why any of them are on the team.
Take CYLOBEL. Chance knows the rumors; she’s a total mystery. No papers, no history, no real name. A girl of few words and fewer actions. “Black-brain telepath” – reads your mind, but only the parts you want hidden.
And then there’s SURGE – Noriko Ashida, the lightning-fast (literally) Japanese gyaru run-away. Short temper, shorter attention span. Nobody knows if she’s actually a bitch, or just pretending to be one.
Next is Dei Guan, a refugee from Xinjiang. He turns into a dragon. He calls himself DRAGON. Not the creative sort. Though, Chance actually respects the lack of pretense.
Finally, there’s the AKKΔBA TWINS. Uriel and Eimin Worthington. Two inseparable goth weirdos with acid-spitting demon wings who talk exclusively in monotone. The once time Chance talked to him, Eimin told her a story about the time her aunt’s house ate all her friends. Yeah. Still, daddy is a billionaire and friends with the Headmistress. So…
There you have it, Mons Esam Academy. Your PARAGONS!
Sounds like a joke, huh?
And the punchline is that their first training session reveals that Chance has the mutant power to send everybody else’s powers out of control.
You’d think things couldn’t get worse…
…but then Silhouette tells them that they’ve arranged a “friendly” sparring match against Tranquility Gulch Preparatory’s own DARK RIDERS!
They have one week to prepare.

"THE REDEEMED"
Helo and Sharon have been reunited with their daughter Hera, who they were led to believe by President Roslin that she was dead. In truth, Hera was alive and being raised on the new Cylon home world of Caprica by Gaius Baltar and Number Six! But Sharon never gave up hope and with the help of Starbuck and Lee Adama, they have their daughter back! Now, in a cramped Raptor along with Gauis, Six, Apollo, and Starbuck piloting, mother, father and daughter may have finally found each other but are they destined to lose her all over again?
Dozens of Cylon Raiders and two Base-Stars are in pursuit of the Raptor. The Inner Council led by D'Anna and Brother John want the fugitves captured and brought back to Caprica to face execution. However, there are other Cylons, The Children of Hera ,who give chase as well because they believe that Hera is a Messiah who will lead them to a golden age! Two groups of Cylons both with different motivations, both who eagerly want to capture the Raptor! No matter the motivation of their pursuers, the end result will be the same for those all those on board!
Starbuck and Helo do their best to keep their Raptor from being captured! They realize that the Cylons don't want to destroy their ship so that gives them a slight advantage. Apollo and Sharon are quickly working to repair the damaged FTL Jump Drive for without it, all hope of escape is lost! As the Raiders begin getting closer, everyone on board begins to understand that this is the end. The Cylons will come aboard and either kill them there or bring them back to Caprica to face execution! Sharon and Helo hold Hera and smile, at least they had a small opportunity to be a family before dying!
Suddenly, Raiders are being destroyed and Starbuck begins to hear familiar chatter from the comm! Hotdog, Kat, Racetrack, Redwing and a squadron of Vipers surround the Raptor, protecting it from the Cylons! Then out of nowhere, Galactica appears guns blazing, destroying one of the Base-Stars! Starbuck quickly manuevers the Raptor to dock on the Galactica as the Vipers continue to wipeout Raiders! And as quickly as they arrived, they jump away, leaving the Cylons in disarray and one group in particular with a deep sense of loss as they have lost their saviour!
Aboard Galactica, there is great celebration and joy! Not only have they rescued their own but have reunited a family! Sharon and Helo both hug Adama as they show him Hera. This is a big victory, not just for this ship but for the entire fleet! They took on the Cylons, rescued their teammates and saved a child! The word has spread throughout all ships and a new sense of hope fills the fleet But there is one person who does not share in that celebration. President Laura Roslin sits alone in her office. She did what she felt was right at the time to protect the fleet. But that is little solace for what is about to come her way. After all, she was the one who led everyone to believe that Hera was dead! Will there come a reckoning for The President of The Colonies! That....is a story for another day.

Birnin T'Chaka: T'Challa and Shuri watch news reports from around the world about the destruction in N'Gabo and the rising anger towards Wakanda! They've discovered that the missiles did indeed come from Wakanda but there was no order given by anyone in the Royal Family. She caresses his hand which feels cold and lifeless! Maria looks at his face and realizes that he has been dead for some time now which can only mean one thing, this is an elaborate trap! Suddenly Maria and Beth are surrounded as steel shudders cover the windows and a shrouded figure enters the room. Stepping from the shadows is someone who she had hoped she would never see again! The Red Widow welcomes Maria back home to mother Russia. Her friends have all missed her and it is time for her to return to The Red Room to complete her training! Magnus, a contemporary of Merlin, has long used a purloined Spark of the Blue Flame to reanimate his chosen hosts as Omen, allowing the gestalt entity to fight evil.
His current chosen mission is to hold back the N’garai from invading Earth, and he’s been at it for a while.
