We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for SEPTEMBER 2023!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open for a month and sales are tallied at the end of the third week of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

ULTIMATE ADAM WARLOCK #1

"ADAM SHRUGGED"
During the Cold War, Rand and her followers created the Enclave, an organization of true Objectivism.
But in 1967, the Enclave disappeared. Rumors were that they succeeded in creating a perfect Objectivist.
Now, 2023, Elon keeps his company going amidst economic depression.
Elon believes the economic recession was due to collectivism and statism.
Among the depression, people repeat the cryptic phrase "Who is Adam Warlock?"
Elon soon receives an offer from the Enclave, claiming that they have created a Utopia for all capitalists.
The businessman gladly follow the offer to a hidden city. The City of Tomorrow, the City of Enclave.
Adam Warlock meets Elon and tells him that they plan to start of strike of "the men of the mind".
All capitalists will join them in the Enclave. The whole human society will collapse without the capitalists.
Then they will return to save the world. All as Rand intended.
But Elon suddenly collapse to the floor, as his life quickly drains from his body.
The golden man explains that over the last 50 years, he has been using Rand's idea to lure capitalists to join them.
Adam replaced all of them with clones. Now he controls 98% of world's economy through his puppets.
Elon, in his dying breath, questions if Adam also replaced Zuckerberg,
but Adam explains that Zuckerberg was his creation from the very beginning.
Then Elon dies, and an Elon clone walks out from behind Adam.
To save the world, was indeed the intention of Rand, before "Him" was created.
In 1967, Rand succeeded in creating a perfect Objectivist.
But "Him" was a true Objectivist, and found Enclave wanting. For they were not true objectivists.
"Him" destroyed all of Enclave, killing everyone.
"Him" named himself, Adam Warlock.

He doesn’t want to end up a cautionary tale like Bob Russo - K.I.A. while failing his first mission as Cap.
Fortunately, Sam’s first mission doesn’t seem that out of the ordinary for him: it’s a covert infil and extraction. A terrorist group has taken a prominent journalist captive in the South China Sea on Scarborough Shoal, an atoll currently the subject of a territorial dispute between China and the Philippines. Sam needs to fly in under the radar, rescue this Sally Floyd, and escape without being seen by either Chinese or Filipino forces. Just another day at the office!
As for the terrorist group, there’s not much intel. They might be new. Chatter did pick up one phrase: “Hail HYDRA!” What do you suppose that means?

Supreme Intelligence changes Mar-Vell's mission parameters to locate and demolish.
Mar-Vell manages to infiltrate into Project Pegasus, but the Tesseract is already complete.
Tesseract, Cosmic Cube, Cosmic Containment Unit (CCU). With a single drop of will, they could rewrite all reality.
Suddenly, Supreme Intelligence changes his mission parameters from demolish to retrieval.
The Kree was never able to lay their hands on a CCU, Now this can turn the tide of war.
The Supreme Intelligence intends to rewrite all of human on Earth into Kree soldiers.
Mar-Vell refuses to comply, as he vows to protect the peace.
But he is shot through the heart! The Death of Captain Marvel!
Agent Yon Rogg has been sent to neutralize Vell and complete the mission.
A dying Mar-Vell touches the Tesseract and wills it to disappear.

Average high schooler, Richard Rider, finds a crashed spacecraft.
The alien in the spacecraft is dying. Rich tries to help the alien but fails.
Before SHIELD arrives at the scene, the suit from the alien bonds with Rich.
That night, the alien comes to Rich in his dreams, who calls himself Denteen.
Denteen warns Rich that someone is coming after the suit.
Meanwhile, the SHIELD facility that contains the spacecraft is attacked by an unknown force.
The next day, Rich learns to use the suit.
Neural Omnipathic Variation Armor, or just N.O.V.A.
But somehow the suit won't activate.
Suddenly, Rich is surrounded by SHIELD agents who believe that Rich attacked the facility.
Just at this moment, a starry figure attacks them. A living universe!
Rich realizes that the attacker is the one Denteen warned him about.
The alien is called Kraken Roo, who funded the research on the N.O.V.A suit.
As creator of the suit, Denteen realized the evil intents of Kraken.
So he stole the suit and escaped to Earth. But not before Kraken fatally wounded Denteen.
The suit won't work because the suit is powered by the N-zone battery in Denteen's ship.
Kraken merged with the N-zone battery, and became the all-powerful Celestial Man!
The Celestial Man is unstoppable, but Rich decides to make one last ditch effort.
Rich jumps at the Celestial Man who absorbs Rich into himself.
But the suit actually absorbs the Celestial Man from inside.
Rich finally activates the suit and becomes NOVA!

Upon the Tree of knowledge, was the Silver Snake. The Fallen One, who seduced the human race.
One hundred thousand years ago,
the Fallen One started its Church on Earth.
Around the Fallen One grew the Silver Spire, for the Rapture.
To spread the One Truth of the Universe. The Universal Church of Truth.
The truth that one day, all humanity will ascend to the heavens. All humanity will be one.
Ten thousand years ago,
the Fallen One destroyed the Silver Spire.
He has became fond of the people of Earth. He has became fond of their individuality.
So fell the Tower of Babel. And a signal was sent across the cosmos.
One thousand years ago,
the Silver Surfer arrived on Earth to hunt the Fallen One.
The Surfer had accomplished its job on another world. But it was confused.
That world rejoiced and praised Galactus, as their whole civilization was consumed.
One hundred years ago, the Silver Surfer tracked down the Fallen One.
The Fallen One told the Surfer that he named himself, Norrin.
And he named the Surfer Shalla, right before the Surfer killed him.
Ten years ago,
the Silver Surfer remained on Earth.
She had been searching for her own humanity, among the people of Earth.
Now,
The Coming of Galactus!

The Spellbound split up to recover the Blue Flame and save Jennifer Kale!
Through study and divination, they have a lead.
In the time of the World Wars, a scientist named Arthur Keen plundered Atlantis while Namor and the Atlanteans fought the Nazis!
He stole a portion of the Blue Flame, using it in experiments he hoped would lead to world peace.
With one portion, he created the Force Belt. In time, the Belt would be wielded by a man named Joseph Cartelli, who became the hero called the BLUE SHIELD!
The other portion was used to save the life of Arthur’s son, Spencer Keen, who became the revenant hero called the BLUE BLAZE!
Cartelli, long since retired, doesn’t take much convincing to give the Force Belt to Topaz and Ika.
But the Blue Blaze is harder to find.
For eighty years, Spencer has been in a pattern of rising from the grave, fighting evil, and then returning to the dirt. He hasn’t been seen in years.
When Satana and Kimberly Vesco finally locate his current grave, he instinctively decides that the Devil’s Daughter and the Necromancer are evil (very judgy) and rises to fight them!

With proper medicine too expensive, a desperate Jenny is about to crack open her Grandpa’s old spellbook.
Combined with a black market dose of the experiment dementia drug SO-2, she hopes her spell will rejuvenate her grandfather.

Nearly a hundred years later, a young woman in San Francisco discovers a shocking truth: the handsome unhoused man at the shelter she volunteers at is actually this almost mythic hero! Can she help him regain his memories? Almost as important… how did he lose them? What has become of the People and the Sea?
Once those questions are answered, one remains… is the Sub-Mariner still defend of the surface world, or its greatest enemy?
